Singer and songwriter Nick Rivera Caminero, more famously known as Nicky Jam, is the new owner of a contemporary mansion on Palm Island. Built in 2016 by Sabal Development, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence spans more than 3,600 square feet and includes a large infinity pool, chef’s kitchen, two-car garage, and a master suite with a private terrace.
Jam, a Latin Grammy winner, is best known for his contribution to the Reggaeton genre with hits such as “Travesuras,” “El Perdón,” “Hasta el Amanecer”, and “El Amante.” In July, the 37-year-old performed along side Will Smith and Kosovar singer Era Istrefi at the closing ceremony for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow.
Nicky Jam’s new Miami Beach digs were listed by Mathieu Rochette of Compass Florida for $3.6M. The singer, who was represented by Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman, paid $3.4M for the Palm Island property. The gated waterfront community has been a popular spot for celebrities over the years with past residents including rapper Bryan “Birdman” Williams and infamous Chicago gangster Al Capone.
